Best Car Japan? Mazda MX-5

Mazda MX-5 won the best car from 2015 to 2016 in Japan. This is the second time the two-seat roadster Mazda received the title as the most prestigious cars in Japan after the previous generation won the title in 2005-2006.
In his official page on Tuesday (08/12/2015), the Mazda MX-5 Mazda became the third car in the last four years who won the Car of the Year Japan. Earlier, the Mazda CX-5 earned in 2012-2013 and in 2014-2015 Mazda2.
As reported Worldcarfans, the results of these awards are taken by voting. Mazda MX-5 won 442 votes. While the second position achieved by the Honda S660 fewer than 41 votes Mazda MX-5.
"We have been through some tough times during the financial crisis and the earthquake of 2011. But we stuck to our founding principle and menciptaan winning formula. We would like to thank the jury and the development team (MX-5) that carry the MX-5 for a living," said Vice President of Product Planning Mazda, Kiyoshi Fujiwara in an award acceptance speech.
The third position achieved Series 2 with the acquisition of 177 votes. BMW was also the best import car of the year in Japan.
While Suzuki Alto awarded Mobility Small and Tesla Model S was awarded the Innovation. Toyota Mirai does not meet the criteria for a major award categories but received a special award for promoting the spread of fuel-cell-powered vehicles.
